The Great Pumpkin Festival

On Saturday October 24th, 2009 we all went to the Desert Botanical Gardens for The Great Pumpkin Festival. Since we are members, it was totally free and there was tonnes of cool stuff going on for the kids. They played carnival games, won candy, went on a tractor-pulled hayride, played in The Amazing Hay Bale Maze, picked out a pumpkin, decorated their pumpkin, visited a petting zoo and then took a final Hayride home. Phew! It was totally awesome.
The great pumpkin patch. I do believe this is the first time the kids have been to one!

Decorating a pumpkin is serious business and requires lots of concentration.

The message on this shirt is so true...

... not too sure about the scarecrow though.

That is SO cool! I wish I could have gone! I don't think I have ever been to a Pumkin Patch either!
