After Newport Beach we drove up to Santa Monica Boulevard to see the Los Angeles Temple. It is sooooooo tall!!
I had been wondering if you could see Hollywood sign from the temple, and found my answer.
How's this for a contrast, eh? "HOLLYWOOD" and "HOLINESS". Thought-provoking!

Then we went out front onto the HUGE sloping lawn along Santa Monica Boulevard. We discovered lots of ladybugs in the grass and the girls got quite a kick out of holding one until it flew away and then looking for the next one.
What a beautiful day!
