On Saturday January 2nd, 2010 we packed up and headed out to Joshua Tree National Park, California. We entered from the south and were fairly underwhelmed by the desert scenery. However about halfway through the park the Joshua trees started popping up and it was love at first sight!! So awesome!
We made a couple of stops. First at the Cholla gardens, an amazing sight.
Later we stopped at Hidden Valley and hiked a 1 mile loop trail with the kids. It was SO FUN - boulders everywhere for the kids to climb. And perfect blue sky weather.
This is the kids waiting for Mom to catch up after a bathroom break. The girls just spontaneously decided to copy Jakob!

Love your family photos! I marvel at the sunshine and think about our balmy 50* cooler weather days up here in Washington...:)
What about your Disneyland pix?
