Random stuff from the last few months: Part 2

On the Saturday after Thanksgiving, the whole entire Rogers family (plus honored guests, including Omi) visited the Shamrock Dairy Farm.

This is about as good of an extended family picture we can get these days. Maybe some day in the future everyone will want their picture taken, and then we'll get the "perfect" one, lol!

While Brielle was visiting, we had another birthday cake for the cute newly 3-year olds (Brie is 3 days older than Emma).

Anna was VERY EXCITED to have her first ride on a school bus for her Kindergarten Field Trip to Superstition Farm. It was bitterly cold, and we had just done practically the same trip 2 days earlier at Shamrock, but she still loved every minute of it. She sat by her best girlfriend on the bus (they aren't even in the same class, but made friends after school by the flagpole waiting to be picked up!), fed a horse and a unicorn (actually a uni-goat), climbed on a haystack and got ice cream. What more could a kindergartener want?

Omi took this picture after one of the Fun Runs at school and I LOVE it, because Anna's face shows EXACTLY how she feels about the whole school experience! (Not to mention the beautiful fall colors in the background - this was December 3rd people!) (Oh, and i just realised that our house is in the picture too, right between the 2 basketball hoops over Anna's right shoulder. So much to love about this picture! Good job Omi!)
Anna's birthday was long, long, long, long, long, LONG anticpated by Anna, and FINALLY it came.
She got to pass out cute cupcakes at school, open presents, blow out candles AND go to Jakob's 5th grade band concert twice! (Once during assembly at school, and then again in the evening). How lucky can a 6 year old be!! She also had an fun birthday party 2 days later, but I will save that for the next blog post.
