Emma had her first ever dance recital on December 18 and did a fantastic job (despite the distraction having a fellow dancer right behind her! Either she or Emma was in the wrong spot, and I'm still not sure who, but it was certainly entertaining).

Yep. We sort of justified it because we could turn off our LCD screen and just use the old fashioned viewfinder (hence why it is so offcentered) so we knew we weren't disturbing anybody's viewing pleasure behind us with a bright screen or causing harm to those on stage with a flash!

Ha ha ha! Your justification totally made me laugh! Nathan watched with me and in his words, "Ahhh... that's so cute!"
It was the other girl! Emma was exactly where she should be!
