The Mesa Arts Center

We took a family trip to the Mesa Arts Center on May 2nd.
After about 3 minutes in the Contemporary Art Galleries we moved outside to what we really love about the place...the landscape, hardscape, architecture and water features.

Jakob was the first to experiment, trying to splash his sisters. With his cupped hands full of icy cold water, intent on stalking his prey, he didn't notice Dad approaching and skillfully pushing the handful of water into Jakob's own surprised face!! That was the "shot heard around the world' and from then on the only sanctuary was to hold the camera!!

Thirst-quenchingly refreshing!

Taking a break for a picture. This is what Emma looks like when she tries to say "Cheese!"

Now let's get REALLY wet!. It took a bit of persuading at first, but Jakob was up for the challenge. He was soaked from head to toe by the time we left.
