We love Gilbert's new Water Tower park. It's about as big as our back yard but there's plenty of interesting water features to keep the kids (and grown ups) entertained, in a cultured kind of way. These pictures were taken last month, the evening before Omi went home. We had dinner at Joe's Real BBQ and then walked over to check out the fountains.

You probably know this, but people in Gilbert starting freaking out quite a few years back when there was talk of taking the water tower down (even though it hasn't been in use in forever). So they left it up to keep people happy and let Gilbert keep a sense of a small town feel. So i am glad to see that they've made it into kind of an attraction!
