Jakob's "Minute To Win It" birthday party

On Saturday July 31st (Jakob was adamant that his party had to be in July, not August) we celebrated Jakob's 10th birthday with a "Minute To Win It" party. If you have never seen the TV show of the same name, or even if you have, you can go here to find instructions how to play all their fun games at home. The kids had a BLAST, and we had a blast watching them!
Here are some video highlights!
And finally some photo highlights showing 1. "Chocolate Unicorn" 2. Shiny vaseline noses for "On the Nose", 3. Triumphant wearers of a "Frozen Shirt", 4. concentrating for "On the Hook", 5. "Candelier".
And since we don't have a million dollars to give away in prize money, here's what they were playing for.

They ended up completing every level, only needing help (like a do-over) on two of them, and a couple of them were even nailbiting buzzer beaters! So fun! And knowing Jakob, I'm sure he enjoyed planning it all out and testing the games almost as much as the big day itself!
