The Snowflake Arizona Temple - 12 October 2008

For the sake of our temple-loving son, we came home from Flagstaff via Snowflake. He's actually been here before when the open house was going on, but he doesn't remember it because he was only 18 months old (below).

The family has grown quite a bit since then!

Anna's smile (below) was for her big brother who took the picture.

When we were about 3 miles from home on Sunday afternoon, Jakob came up with the idea of a quick detour past the Mesa Arizona Temple because, as he said, "how many times do you get to see all the temples in Arizona on the same day?".

beautiful pix!! that's so cool that Jake wanted to see all the AZ temples in one day - I have never even been to the Snowflake temple! Pretty soon there will be 5 temples - CRAZY!!! - a little harder to see all in one day, but still could probably be done :)

What a sweet boy that he loves to visit temples. He's going to be an amazing missionary someday. :)

It looks like a great vacation! Jakob - yes, if there is a temple to be seen and an opportunity to do something good, he will be there. He takes after Jarod - Germany to England, via the Eiffel tower, need I say more!! I love the picture of Sara and the girls with the light shining from behind, very 'stimmungsvoll.'

Oh, and Emma is reminding me so much of Jakob at that age - remember Slide Rock park and Sedona. Anna is a trouper, undaunted and intrepid, what a girl!
